Account Manager - Chicago Region
Responsibilities:
This is a quota carrying sales role targeting all business within the territory. Candidate is responsible for generating and closing net new business as well as for maintaining and growing relationships with existing accounts. Candidate is responsible for the overall health and sales performance of a defined geography.
Daily responsibilities will include end user sales calls, joint account calls with channel partners, cold calling, forecasting and other sales related activities.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Make outbound calls to build pipeline
  • Manages prospecting and sales activities in assigned territory  
  • Qualify new business opportunities and identify key contacts
  • Leads sales presentations at channel partner and end user locations
  • Manage all aspects of the sales process from lead generation to closure
  • Close all renewal revenue sales on a timely basis
  • Manage the healthy growth of the channel partners within the territory
  • Manage all aspects of the sales process from lead generation to closure
Skills:
  • Strong work ethic and high level of self motivation
  • Strong technology interest in the area of Internet Security
  • Able to communicate effectively on the telephone and via email
  • Previous success in an out bound telephone sales position is a plus
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.com a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and not afraid of the phone
  • Minimum of 2 - 5 years experience in enterprise software sales to various channels and direct sales
  • BA/BS Required
