On-demand Webcast with Keynote by Chenxi Wang of Independent Research Firm
Ambushed by Facebook and Twitter?
How attackers are using your trusted web resources to compromise your employees

Attackers are no longer setting up malicious sites and hoping that victims will arrive. Build it and they will come makes little sense, when attackers can instead leverage successful, trusted web resources such as Google, Facebook and Twitter that receive millions of visitors each and every day. Modern attacks leverage the largest and most powerful web resources as catalysts for attack. Whether poisoning search results through search engine optimization (SEO) techniques, masquerading as a trusted colleague, thanks to social networks or sneaking into the walled gardens of app stores; attackers are leveraging the very resources that we’ve grown to trust.
Traditional security controls such as Anti-Virus software or URL filtering are crippled in combating these new threats. The attacks emerge from trusted sources and their dynamic nature complicates signature-based detection mechanisms.
In this webcast we will address attacks that leverage trusted web resources and debate how SaaS based security can combat these threats.
