| This position is a commercial focused Inside Sales Engineer. You will work with the inside sales team to engage with sales prospects, understand customer requirements, prepare and present demonstrations of Zscaler’s solutions. You should be a confident presenter with excellent presentation skills. This role will interact closely with the support, engineering, product management, and sales departments. |
| RESPONSIBILITIES: |
- Engage directly with customers on both technical and non-technical levels to ensure superior satisfaction as well as interact directly with key support and product personnel to resolve issues.
- Work directly with Zscaler’s Email and Web Security within customer’s environment.
- Provide phone based presales technical support as well as occasional onsite support.
- Responsible for the architectural design of Zscaler solutions including implementation.
- Conduct channel technical trainings as needed within the territory.
- Handling technical issues with minimal need for supervision or assistance..
- Provide product, market, and competitive analysis to product management.
- Participate in the overall product strategy.
- Responsible for product review and certifications, sales presentations, training, and technical partner support.

| REQUIREMENTS: |
- Associates degree preferred with strong academic record.
- At least 1 year of experience serving in the capacity of a sales engineer or equivalent experience in a customer-facing role to include working as a member of a professional services, support organization or systems engineering team.
- Understanding of networking concepts and technologies (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, HTTP, DNS, firewalls, routers & routing protocols, proxy servers) with a particular emphasis on HTTP proxy architectures.
- An understanding of network identity management systems to include SSO, SAML, LDAP strongly preferred.
- Excellent follow up and organization skills.
