Sprint today announced the launch of Sprint Secure Web, an “as-a-service” cloud-based security platform to provide businesses secure access to the internet and cloud-based applications.  The service is powered by Zscaler, a widely recognized industry leader in cloud security solutions.

Technology and the need for mobility are driving businesses to rely more and more on the internet and cloud-based applications for company operations.  However, accessing the internet and company applications can be a security challenge, especially if users bypass premise security systems in the process.

Sprint Secure Web addresses this challenge and delivers superior security for an organization via the world’s largest security cloud. The service provides users policy-based internet access and offers real-time, inline protection from malware and other, more advanced threats.

Locating the security stack in the cloud brings the internet gateway closer to the user for a faster experience and enables organizations to realize the many benefits of cloud and mobility.
