How do I earn the certification?
Complete the Zscaler Academy Zscaler for Users-Essentials course, then register to take the online-proctored exam at your desired time. Pass your exam, and you will have earned this certification.
How do I register for a certification exam?
Once you have completed the course and lab requirements, you will be able to register for your exam via your Zscaler Academy learning path, which will guide you to register with our testing delivery partner, Certiverse.
How do I prepare for a certification exam?
The Zscaler for Users-Essentials course and associated labs support the ZDTA exam. In addition to participating in the labs, you should also review the exam Blueprint and Study Guide.
What do I get if I pass the exam?
You will earn a digital badge and receive the badge via email from our badging vendor, Credly. This digital badge will validate your earned credentials. To learn more about accepting and sharing your digital badge, you can review topics via the Credly Support Center.
What if I take the exam but do not pass?
You may reattempt the exam, but do refer to our retake policy here.
What if I took a previous non-proctored exam and earned a certificate for Zscaler for Users- Essentials?
We are not removing any previous learning completions or certificates you may have earned. You may see a change in learning path completion though, as the learning path has changed to include the ZDTA exam.
How much does the ZDTA exam cost?
The cost for the ZDTA exam is $300. We are offering the exam at $0 for a promotional period through February 29, 2024, no voucher code needed. You must have scheduled and taken your exam by February 29, 2024, to take advantage of this promotion. On March 1, 2024, the exam will be $300 and the promotion will have ended.
