Zscaler Announces Global Expansion Plans

San Jose, California, June 7, 2012

Zscaler, The Cloud Security Company, announced today that it will triple its worldwide headquarters’ facility size, with its move to the Baytech Office Park, located in the heart of Silicon Valley. This to keep pace with accelerated demand for its cloud-delivered security services, which already serves over 8 million users and is rapidly growing. The company expects to also double headcount this year. Zscaler is also expanding its facilities in India as it continues to scale its global footprint.

Zscaler CEO and Founder, Jay Chaudhry, points out: “With the rapid adoption of mobility, cloud computing is making traditional security appliances irrelevant. Cloud-delivered security is the only pragmatic approach to protect users. Therefore, it’s no surprise that demand for Zscaler cloud security has been growing so quickly. It significantly raises the bar, bringing ultimate simplicity and elimination of burdensome capital costs and processes, and combining these with the strongest, real-time security and highest performance defense-in-depth protection.”

“The new building will host the next-generation cloud operations center that’s designed to monitor and manage our global infrastructure, which currently handles over 5 billion transactions every day across more than 100 datacenters around the world,” said Patrick Foxhoven, vice president of Cloud Operations at Zscaler.

The new Zscaler headquarters is located at 110 Baytech Drive, San Jose, CA 95134 USA.
