Transformation Journey
Patrick Joyce is Vice President and Chief Security Officer (CISO & CSO) at Medtronic. He has been with the company since 2005 serving in a variety of Senior IT, Security and Audit leadership roles. Patrick is responsible for leading the company’s global strategies, operations and initiatives related to enterprise security.
Prior to joining Medtronic, Patrick has held leadership roles in both public and private sector organizations across multiple verticals, including: healthcare (both provider and payor), travel/hospitality, and IT consulting. Earlier in his career, Patrick served as a U.S. Air Force Intelligence officer.
Patrick is and has served as a board member and officer of several professional and not-for-profit boards, including the Healthcare Information Sharing & Analysis Center (H-ISAC), the Minnesota Technology Association (MnTech) and the Audit Committee of the National Marrow Donor Program or ‘Be The Match.’
