Former UBS and Bank of America Executive Andy Brown Joins Zscaler Board of Directors

Zscaler, Inc., the leader in cloud-security, today announced that financial services and tech veteran Andy Brown has joined its board of directors. Brown is a distinguished leader with more than 30 years of experience in information and financial technology. 

“Andy brings a wealth of knowledge and invaluable experience from the financial services and technology industry to our board of directors,” said Zscaler CEO Jay Chaudhry. “As Zscaler’s cloud security platform continues to experience rapid demand and accelerated adoption, Andy’s strategic insights will be critical as we continue to evolve.”

Security is a key differentiator and ongoing challenge for global organizations, and Brown’s extensive career working with major financial services companies is essential in advising Zscaler as it scales its cloud security platform to secure cloud and mobile-first enterprises.  

In Brown’s current role as CEO and co-founder of Sand Hill East, he is responsible for identifying and guiding seed stage companies on go to market, product strategy and technology architecture and design. His past experience includes Group Technology Officer for UBS; Head of Strategy, Architecture and Optimization at Bank of America; CTO of Infrastructure at Credit Suisse; and various positions including Chief Architect at Merrill Lynch. Additionally, Brown is on the board of Guidewire (GWRE) and Moogsoft. He was founder of Desktone, board member of ServiceMesh and advisor to Cyvera, all of which were acquired in the past two years.
