We recognize that health is a large and broad component of wellness. Our Group Medical Insurance provides comprehensive coverage at no cost to Zscaler employees in Israel, and at subsidized rates for their family members. The coverage includes a variety of medical services, such as doctor visits, surgeries, special treatments, hospital stays, medications, and more.
Employees are encouraged to take advantage of mental health services and support through wellness programs that include: 24/7 access to the Telus confidential Employee Assistance Program and free access to the Calm meditation app.
Financial
We understand that financial security is a cornerstone of overall well-being. Our broad range of benefits are designed to help you manage your financial security and save for your future.
A retirement savings plan helps you build financial security. Zscaler contributes 7.5% of the employee’s base salary, and employees contribute 6% of their monthly base salary to help plan for the future and reach retirement goals.
The Zscaler stock program offers Restricted Stock Units (RSU) and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), allowing you to invest in Zscaler’s future and share in the company’s success.
- RSUs are granted by the company to eligible employees on an individual basis as deemed appropriate.
- ESPP offers employees an opportunity to purchase Zscaler stock at a minimum 15% discount through payroll deduction twice a year.
Keren Hishtalmut is a tax-free employee savings plan available in Israel to help you save for higher education and meet your short or long-term financial goals.
- Zscaler contributes 7.5% of the employee’s base salary, and employees are required to contribute 2.5% of base salary.
All employees in Israel are automatically enrolled in Zscaler’s travel allowance, which provides a monthly allowance to support your commuting costs.

All full-time employees receive a set amount of annual leave, plus paid public holidays, paid time off for sick leave, and bereavement leave.
Zscaler supports employees with families and offers the following parental leave benefits:
- Birthing Parent Leave: 100% of base pay for 18 weeks.
- Non-Birthing Parent Leave: 100% of base pay for 8 weeks.
All Zscaler employees and their family members have access to an enhanced Employee Assistance Program (EAP) through Telus. This free and confidential program offers localized 1:1 health and well-being support, including counseling services and resources to assist employees and their families with work and home life issues, including finding care for children and elderly parents, education, finances, and more.

Tuition Reimbursement:
Zscaler invests in your future career growth and helps you further your knowledge, skills, and job effectiveness through continuing education. Eligible employees can apply for reimbursement up to US$4,000 equivalent per calendar year for eligible educational expenses, including college credit courses, continuing education courses, and certifications.
Employees who work in or visit our office enjoy healthy snacks and beverage options to stay energized and productive throughout the day. Our meal allowance program provides employees with the freedom to choose from many different meal choices that align with your preferences.
Employees can opt into Hitech Zone (HtZone), an exclusive online membership program providing access to discounts, cashback, and special offers on a wide range of products and services.
Employees can take advantage of a monthly reimbursement for their mobile phone plan costs. Additionally, those who use their mobile phones for business purposes can be reimbursed for a new phone and approved accessories.
