HEALTH
Supporting the health and well-being of employees and their families is a top priority. Excellent health coverage encompasses much more than sick care—it includes resources for mental health, support for complex and chronic conditions, and benefits to help grow and care for your family.
We recognize that health is a large and broad component of wellness which starts with proper medical care. Zscaler has a collective medical scheme with ASR Vitality, providing employees with discounted rates for two coverage options, Wide and Own. Zscaler covers the employer portion of the plan, and employee premiums are also discounted.
Employees can also elect to include supplementary insurance for additional physiotherapy and dental coverage, depending on their needs. There is no deductible.
Employees are encouraged to take advantage of mental health services and support through wellness programs that include 24/7 access to the Telus confidential Employee Assistance Program and free access to the Calm meditation app.
Financial
We understand that financial security is a cornerstone of overall well-being. Our broad range of benefits is designed to help you manage your financial security and save for your future.
At Zscaler, we invest in your long-term financial well-being by contributing 5% of your pensionable salary into a defined contribution scheme to provide you with income support when you reach retirement.
Want to grow your savings even further? You have the flexibility to make additional personal contributions, empowering you to build a retirement plan that fits your goals. It’s our way of helping you plan confidently for the years ahead.
Zscaler provides accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) coverage for you and your family in case of death or serious injury. Zscaler pays for the full cost of this coverage.
In the event of a long-term illness preventing you from working, Zscaler provides an income replacement benefit to support your recovery. The cost of this benefit is evenly split, with Zscaler covering 50% and the remaining 50% contributed through payroll deductions.
The Zscaler stock program offers Restricted Stock Units (RSU) and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), allowing you to invest in Zscaler’s future and share in the company’s success.
- RSUs are granted by the company to eligible employees on an individual basis as deemed appropriate.
- ESPP offers employees an opportunity to purchase Zscaler stock at a minimum 15% discount through payroll deduction twice a year.

Zscaler supports employees with families and offers the following parental leave benefits:
- Birthing Parent Leave: 100% of base pay for 18 weeks
- Non-Birthing Parent Leave: 100% of base pay for 8 weeks
All Zscaler employees and their family members have access to an enhanced Employee Assistance Program (EAP) through Telus. This free and confidential program offers localized 1:1 health and well-being support, including counseling services and resources to assist employees and their families with work and home life issues, including finding care for children and elderly parents, education, finances, and more.
