Health
Supporting the health and well-being of employees and their families is a top priority. Excellent health coverage encompasses much more than sick care—it includes resources for mental health, support for complex and chronic conditions, and benefits to help grow and care for your family.
We recognize that health is a large and broad component of wellness which starts with medical coverage. Zscaler fully funds the LuxMed Extended Plan, or you can upgrade to the more inclusive Comprehensive Plan. Both plans feature unlimited medical consultations, emergency assistance, and integrated dental care. You also have the flexibility to extend this coverage to your family.
Dental coverage is tailored to the coverage level you choose, ensuring comprehensive care for your overall health and well-being.
Employees are encouraged to take advantage of mental health services and wellness programs that include: 24/7 access to the Telus confidential Employee Assistance Program; free access to the Calm meditation app; and fitness and well-being support.
Zscaler offers two convenient eye-care options:
- Health Insurance: Access eye care support directly through your LuxMed health plan.
- Visual Display Unit (VDU) Glasses Claim: If you haven’t opted for health insurance or prefer to arrange glasses independently, you can take advantage of an internal claims allowance specifically for VDU glasses.
Financial
We understand that financial security is a cornerstone of overall well-being. Our broad range of benefits is designed to help you manage your financial security and save for your future.
Zscaler employees are automatically enrolled in the Employee Capital Plan (PPK), a long-term savings scheme designed to help build your financial security for the future. Under this plan, you contribute 2% of your salary, while Zscaler adds a 1.5% employer contribution, making saving for your future easy and accessible.
The Zscaler stock program offers Restricted Stock Units (RSU) and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), allowing you to invest in Zscaler’s future and share in the company’s success.
- RSUs are granted by the company to eligible employees on an individual basis as deemed appropriate.
- ESPP offers employees an opportunity to purchase Zscaler stock at a minimum 15% discount through payroll deduction twice per year.
Zscaler provides fully funded life insurance through Allianz, offering financial protection for you and your loved ones in the event of death, accident, or serious injury.

All full-time employees are entitled to 26 days of annual leave per year, in addition to public holidays. You also receive time off for life’s special moments, including marriage and the birth of a child.
Zscaler supports employees with families and offers the following parental leave benefits:
Maternity Leave: 100% of base pay for 26 weeks, then 60% of base pay for an additional 26 weeks
Paternity Leave: 100% of base pay for 8 weeks
Adoption Leave: 100% of base pay for 18 weeks for primary carers and 8 weeks for secondary careers
All Zscaler employees and their family members have access to an enhanced Employee Assistance Program (EAP) through Telus. This free and confidential program offers localized 1:1 health and well-being support, including counseling services and resources to assist employees and their families with work and home life issues, including finding care for children and elderly parents, education, finances, and more.
Learning & Employee Perks
Zscaler invests in your growth through a variety of learning and development options, along with a tuition reimbursement program for continuing education and certifications. We also provide employees with a range of onsite perks as well as discounts and special benefits to support your needs.
Learning & Development: Employees can take advantage of a variety of leadership and management development offerings, plus access to on-demand learning, including 1,000+ videos, courses, and live events on personal development, business, AI, and other technical topics.
Tuition Reimbursement: Zscaler invests in your future career growth and helps you further your knowledge, skills, and job effectiveness through continuing education. Eligible employees can apply for reimbursement up to US$5,250 equivalent per calendar year for eligible educational expenses, including college credit courses, continuing education courses, and certifications.
