Seasoned executives join Zscaler as part of its rapid expansion

Zscaler, The Cloud Security Company, and provider of the world’s most comprehensive cloud-delivered mobile, email, and web security solutions, today announced the appointment of Thomas Miller as head of North America sales and the appointment of Rebecca MacDonald as head of worldwide marketing. The additions are part of Zscaler’s larger strategy to expand the company’s management team with experienced leaders who can help guide the company’s rapid growth.

Thomas Miller was previously the president of Trend USA and led the strategic planning, operations, and key growth initiatives for Trend Micro’s U.S. business unit. “The market for Internet security is being completely transformed by the forces of mobility, cloud applications and social media,” said Miller. “These changes demand a new approach, and Zscaler is the only security company “born cloud,” with a solution built from the ground up to address this new reality. MacDonald joins Zscaler from Attensity, where as vice president of marketing she helped reposition and guide the company’s rapid trajectory from a text analytics provider to a leading player in the Social CRM market. “I am excited to join Zscaler at such a pivotal time, and am looking forward to building upon the strong leadership position the company has established as a pioneer in cloud-delivered security,” said MacDonald.
