Zscaler Partners with TTK to Patrol Transcontinental Internet Highway

San Jose, California, November 09, 2010

Zscaler today announced a strategic alliance with Company TransTeleCom (TTK), a leading nation-wide backbone telecoms operator in Russia, to offer its clients a Web Protection service enabling safe Internet access. Zscaler’s easy to deploy architecture is extremely scalable and will boost productivity across organizations of all sizes.

TTK operates the largest fiber-optic communications network in Russia and efficiently connects Europe with Asia. In addition, it services corporate clients ranging from small businesses to large distributed organizations such as railway carriers and state enterprises. TTK also has international operations with sites at the largest world centers of telecommunication traffic concentration in London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Stockholm, and Hong Kong.

According to Alexander Zolotnikov, CISO at TTK, “It is very important for today’s user to feel confident utilizing modern Internet facilities. Our service, based on Zscaler’s easy to deploy web security service, can provide this confidence to customers. We believe that targeted usage of web resources helps increase effectiveness of every employee, which in turn contributes to higher business performance on the whole.”

“We are delighted that TTK has chosen to partner with us,” said Reiner Baumann, VP of Sales for Europe, Middle-East and Africa. “Zscaler technology does not require the deployment of any hardware, software or agents. The service will be seamlessly delivered across Eurasia and protect millions of users.”
