Dr. Swamy Kocherlakota
Executive Vice President, Agentic AI Security Engineering
Dr. Swamy Kocherlakota is responsible for leading Zscaler’s Agentic AI security strategy and engineering. In this role, he oversees the innovation of the Zscaler platform to secure agentic workflows, ensuring the protection of both human and machine identities as AI evolves into autonomous agents. Swamy focuses on solving security challenges at the architectural level to enable organizations to adopt Agentic AI safely and at scale.
Swamy brings 30 years of experience shaping AI strategies and managing complex, global infrastructures. Prior to joining Zscaler, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Digital Solutions Officer at S&P Global, where he drove digital transformation and delivered productivity improvements. Before that, Swamy was Senior Vice President, Global Head of Technology Operations & Infrastructure at Visa, Inc., and Head of Global Infrastructure Engineering and Architecture at BNY Mellon. Earlier in his career, he was a Distinguished Engineer at Lucent Bell Labs.
Swamy holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Michigan State University and is a NASD registered representative.
