As Chief AI Officer, Dr. Swamy Kocherlakota is chartered with helping enterprises and customers safely and responsibly accelerate AI adoption. An expert on agentic AI, he is dedicated to building cutting-edge AI solutions and guiding organizations through the massive shift toward autonomous workflows. He works to ensure that as AI evolves from passive tools into active digital agents, enterprises can innovate with confidence—backed by Zero Trust security architectures that protect their data, intellectual property, and critical systems.
Swamy brings 30 years of experience shaping AI strategies and managing complex, global infrastructures. Prior to joining Zscaler, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Digital Solutions Officer at S&P Global, where he drove digital transformation and delivered productivity improvements. Before that, Swamy was Senior Vice President, Global Head of Technology Operations & Infrastructure at Visa, Inc., and Head of Global Infrastructure Engineering and Architecture at BNY Mellon. Earlier in his career, he was a Distinguished Engineer at Lucent Bell Labs.
He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Michigan State University and is a NASD registered representative.
