Zscaler Dissects Advanced Persistent Threats at 2010 RSA Conference
Sunnyvale, California, February 25, 2010
What: The surge of recent high profile Web attacks on corporations by exploiting end users – such as the Google attacks – are prompting many organizations to rethink their security strategy. Traditional hardware and software-based solutions are simply inadequate due to the dynamic nature of the Web. Zscaler, a founding charter company of the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), is leading the discussion of SaaS as the future of Web security and Zscaler Research will show how SaaS most effectively addresses APTs and other threats at the upcoming 2010 RSA Conference.
Two key sessions will address the topic:
First, Jay Chaudhry, CEO of Zscaler, will preside as panelist in RSA’s SaaS-based Security Solutions session, addressing the issues around outsourcing security services.
Second, Senior Security Researcher at Zscaler, Mike Geide, will present a glimpse into Cloud Threats Research, highlighting key Web-related risks such as Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs) like Operation Aurora, assessing impact and discussing mitigation strategies.
When/Where:
Monday, March 1 - 09:15 AM – Cloud Threats Research, Green Room 131
Wednesday, March 3 - 09:10 AM – SaaS-based Security Solutions, Orange Room 302
Who: RSA attendees, market analysts, reporters and bloggers covering Cloud- and SaaS-based security
