Health

Supporting the health and well-being of employees and their families is a top priority. Excellent health coverage encompasses much more than sick care—it includes resources for mental health, support for complex and chronic conditions, and benefits to help grow and care for your family.

Private Medical Insurance: 
We recognise that health is a large and broad component of wellness. Employees can elect private medical insurance to cover the costs of consultations, diagnosis, and treatment. Family coverage is fully funded by Zscaler.



Virtual General Practitioner: 
Access care when you need it without leaving your home. You and your family can skip the queues and speak to a General Practitioner, nurse, or physiologist for a virtual consultation at no extra cost.

Employees are encouraged to take advantage of mental health services and wellness programmes that include: 24/7 access to the Telus confidential Employee Assistance Program; free access to the Calm meditation app; and fitness and well-being support.

Protect your teeth with dental insurance for you and your family. Coverage includes minor treatments, routine examinations, restorative treatment, and more. Zscaler pays for the full cost of this coverage, with flex options available at an additional cost.

To support your general eye care, Zscaler covers annual eye exams for all employees and, if required, provides a contribution towards a pair of visual display use (VDU) eye glasses. Employees who are not required to wear VDU use glasses receive credit for sunglasses.

A retirement savings plan helps you build financial security. Employees may participate in the Zscaler pension plan through Scottish Widows, designed to provide an income, cash lump sums, or a combination of both for when you reach retirement age.
Zscaler offers a company matching contribution of 6% if the employee contributes 3%. This helps you save more quickly to reach your retirement goals.

The Zscaler stock program offers Restricted Stock Units (RSU) and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), allowing you to invest in Zscaler’s future and share in the company’s success.

  • RSUs are granted by the company to eligible employees on an individual basis as deemed appropriate.
  • ESPP offers employees an opportunity to purchase Zscaler stock at a minimum 15% discount through payroll deduction twice per year.

Life Insurance: ​​
Zscaler provides life insurance to protect you and your family in case of death or serious injury.

Income Protection: 
If you become injured or unwell for a prolonged period, you may be eligible to claim group income protection (GIP).
 

We offer multiple voluntary benefits with access to discounted rates for everyday health and wellness, including gym memberships, critical illness, partner life insurance, Cycle to Work, restaurant cards, motor breakdown cover, Will writing, health screenings, health care cash plan, and the opportunity to purchase additional holiday days on top of their annual leave entitlement.

All full-time employees receive a set amount of annual leave in addition to public holidays, paid sick leave, and bereavement leave. They also have the option to purchase additional holiday days through the flexible benefits program.

Zscaler supports employees with families and offers the following parental leave benefits:

  • Maternity Leave: 100% of base pay for 18 weeks
  • Paternity Leave: 100% of base pay for 8 weeks
  • Adoption Leave: 100% of base pay for 18 weeks for primary carers and 8 weeks for secondary carers.

All Zscaler employees and their family members have access to an enhanced Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) through Telus. This free and confidential programme offers localised 1:1 health and well-being support, including counseling services and resources to assist employees and their families with work and home life issues, including finding care for children and elderly parents, education, finances, and more.

Tuition Reimbursement: 
Zscaler invests in your future career growth and helps you further your knowledge, skills, and job effectiveness through continuing education. Eligible employees can apply for reimbursement up to US$5,250 equivalent per calendar year for eligible educational expenses, including college credit courses, continuing education courses, and certifications.

Employees who work from or visit our London office enjoy healthy snacks and beverage options to stay energized and productive throughout the day. Employees enjoy weekly catered lunches and periodic team building events with refreshments.
