Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! Sabor (pronounced sah-BOHR) @ Zscaler is one of our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) with a mission to promote the cultural diversity and professional development of its members. This month we’re highlighting a few members making incredible contributions at Zscaler and in their communities. Join us in celebrating: 

Meet Sarah Peters

Sarah is a Partner Campaigns Manager on our Global Partner Marketing team! For the past 3.5 years, she has been developing marketing campaigns that empower thousands of Zscaler partners. She is also a passionate member of Sabor @ Zscaler.

When she’s not at work, Sarah loves the energy of live music, reconnecting with family across the globe, and finding “active rest” by swimming. Currently settled on the coast of Central New Jersey, she enjoys living at the unique crossroads of ocean, city, and beautiful rolling farmland.

With a diverse ancestry from Cuba, Spain, and Eastern Europe, Sarah says her favorite aspect of her Hispanic culture is the “resourcefulness and indomitable spirit” of her Cuban heritage—the belief that there’s always a solution to a problem.

Meet Francisco Igual Tiburcio

Francisco leads our Risk Management function at Zscaler! In his role, his primary objective is to proactively identify, thoroughly assess, and effectively mitigate risks across Zscaler. He is also an active member of Sabor @ Zscaler, where he enjoys sharing his Hispanic heritage to foster a culture of learning and connection.

When he’s not at work, Francisco is a passionate foodie and triathlete. He loves exploring new cuisines (especially Mexican and Italian!), staying active in the great outdoors of the Bay Area, and spending quality time with his family at their soccer tournaments and swim meets.

Born and raised in Mexico City, Francisco cherishes the culinary traditions of his culture. From savoring chile rellenos in September to enjoying pan de muerto in November, food-centric holidays are his favorite. The vibrant sounds of Mariachi music also hold a special place in his heart.

Meet Helena Blanco Morales

Helena who has been at Zscaler since 2020, serving as a Technical Success Manager and contributing to the Sabor @ Zscaler Employee Resource Group. She’s passionate about helping others and is always thinking of ways to build strong relationships, empower individuals, and foster a positive and inclusive culture.

Helena is a proud resident of #CostaRica, a beautiful paradise that perfectly embodies the spirit of ‘Pura Vida.’ She possesses a zest for travel and connecting with nature, shaped by her passion for exploring the world's beauty and diversity.

In her free time, you can find her exploring the outdoors. Helena loves traveling not just for the adventure, but for the opportunity to immerse herself in different cultures and help animals in need. She also enjoys celebrating with her family and community, where music and togetherness are at the heart of every event. These days she is also inspired by her new baby, who is already her favorite travel companion!
