Morgan Storey

Morgan Storey is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Sonic Healthcare, a global leader in diagnostic laboratory medicine and an ASX Top 50 organization. Since joining Sonic Healthcare in 2008, Morgan has been a driving force behind the company’s cybersecurity evolution, rising through the ranks to lead a global strategy focused on protecting critical infrastructure and sensitive patient data. A champion of security-first innovation, Morgan is instrumental in advancing Sonic Healthcare’s transition to a zero-trust architecture. He holds a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity from Charles Sturt University and other IT Security certifications, including CISSP and CISM. An active leader in the Sydney CISO community, he is dedicated to building cyber resilience and leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead of sophisticated, healthcare-targeted threats.
