DLP user notifications
DLP policies are typically configured and enforced without the knowledge of the end user. As a result, employees often receive a frustrating user experience; for example, when a file upload to the cloud is blocked because sensitive information is detected, and the user does not understand why her or his action is being prevented. Not only does this impede employee productivity (and satisfaction), but it fails to include users as partners in the quest to protect data.
Zscaler’s leading data loss prevention includes user notifications that keep employees informed about policy violations in real time. When a policy is enforced, users receive an alert via Slack or Microsoft Teams that explains why controls were imposed on their activities.
