About the Course

This in-depth course equips administrators to confidently administer and continually optimize the Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange across ZIA, ZPA, and ZDX. It builds a strong foundation in zero trust concepts, effective user and device administration, and advanced security policy design covering Firewall, DLP, and Threat Protection. Students will also develop expertise with ZDX to monitor digital experience, interpret detailed analytics, and troubleshoot issues proactively.

Prerequisites

A working understanding of computer networking, network monitoring and configuring. Familiarity with enterprise IT infrastructure and experience in using web-based management portals is recommended.

Build proficiency in ZIdentity and Experience Center

To strengthen identity management and user experience

Deploy and manage  Zscaler Client Connector

understand tunneling, and use health metrics for monitoring and troubleshooting

Implement and operate ZIA/ZPA integrations

(network integration, App Connectors, Private Service Edges) and understand OneAPI fundamentals

Configure and manage core security controls

Traffic control, web/app access, SSL inspection, malware protection, and zero trust least-privilege ZPA policies

Create and enforce data protection and SaaS controls:

DLP policies/incidents and CASB for sanctioned/unsanctioned apps to meet compliance needs

Use dashboards, logs, analytics, and ZDX (ThreatLabz, Risk360, alerts)

to detect threats, monitor experience/performance, investigate root causes, remediate issues, and continuously optimize integrations and policies

EDU-200 Learning Journey Map

The recommended path for the Zscaler for Users - Administrator learning journey is to complete the eLearning course, and then take the hands-on labs. Once these are completed, you can sign up for the certificate test. You will have 90 minutes to answer 50 questions. Upon passing the test, you’ll earn the Zscaler Digital Transformation Administrator (ZDTA) Certificate.

If you are new to the space, start with Foundation Courses.

Otherwise, start with EDU-200 within the Platform learning paths.

Once you have completed the baseline learning path (EDU-200), you can then progress higher within the Platform courses or take on the specialization courses.
