“We are honored to be recognized for the fifth year in a row by Gartner as a leader in the Secure Web Gateway market,” said Jay Chaudhry, Zscaler’s CEO. “Thousands of organizations of all sizes are breaking free from security appliances and turning to Zscaler to keep their business safe with our integrated, cloud-based security platform that includes not only secure web gateway, but also next generation firewall, advanced threat protection, data loss prevention and cloud application visibility and control.”

ImageZscaler has seen strong adoption of its cloud-based Internet security platform driven by industry shifts from hardware appliances to Security as a Service, as well as the convergence of point solutions into integrated platforms. Today, more than 5,000 enterprise and government organizations with more than 15 million employees rely on the Zscaler Internet security platform to provide extra layers of security, protect their mobile workers and Internet of Things devices and to secure their globally distributed offices and locations.

“As one of the largest and most innovative media companies in the world, our business strategy is greatly benefiting from the agility, flexibility and economic advantages we have achieved by broadly adopting cloud computing,” said David Hahn, VP and CISO at Hearst Corporation. “Gartner’s analysis in their new Secure Web Gateway Magic Quadrant exactly aligns with our experience in deploying Zscaler as a key enabler for our cloud-based business strategy, making it safe for our more than 13,000 global employees to use the Internet for business.”
