CASB and secure access service edge (SASE) are not the same thing, however, they do complement one another. CASB secures cloud interactions and data flows while SASE more broadly integrates cloud security, networking, and access controls. SASE includes CASB by definition, enabling organizations to enforce policies and secure data as part of their network architecture.
