Announcing New GovCloud Innovations: Modernizing Experience, Strengthening Security, and Expanding Footprint

image

In an era marked by relentless cyber threats and increasing complexity, government agencies and defense organizations must continuously evolve their technology strategies to ensure security, compliance, and efficiency. At the forefront of this evolution are GovClouds—key platforms designed to empower agencies with robust solutions to safeguard critical information, enhance operational agility, and ensure adherence to strict regulatory requirements.

We’re excited to introduce a new wave of upcoming innovations purpose-built for Zscaler’s GovCloud, empowering federal teams and defense organizations with the tools they need to modernize operations, streamline user experiences, counter emerging threats, and expand secure global connectivity. These advancements are thoughtfully designed to support mission-critical requirements while providing the scalability, security, and compliance needed to meet the demands of missions that matter most.

Modernizing User Experience for Government

Experience Center, ZIdentity, OneAPI: A modernized user experience isn’t just about technology; it’s about empowering users and ensuring greater efficiency for government teams. With our upcoming Experience Center (One UI), agencies will gain access to a unified interface, simplifying workflows and allowing users to focus on what matters most—critical mission operations.

Integration with ZIdentity provides secure, seamless access, reducing friction for users and eliminating security gaps associated with legacy identity tools. Meanwhile, OneAPI will deliver interoperability across systems, ensuring smoother collaboration and fostering a more connected government ecosystem.

Together, these features will streamline the user experience and enable government customers to save time, improve operational workflows, and enhance collaboration while reducing complexity. The result is mission readiness supported by intuitive, integrated technology designed with the end-user in mind.

Elevating Security Operations with Next-Generation Tools

Data Fabric for Security and apps like Unified Vulnerability Management (UVM), Asset Exposure Management (AEM): Protecting critical government systems requires visibility, responsiveness, and innovation in security operations. With our upcoming exposure management offerings, agencies will gain contextual insights across their full environment, with agency-specific prioritization of risks. These solutions, powered by the data aggregation, correlation, and enrichment of our Data Fabric for Security,  help agencies continuously improve their security posture by identifying and remediating evolving risks, such as zero-day vulnerabilities.

The same Data Fabric foundation will feed an increasing array of reactive security solutions, enabling government organizations to accelerate their threat detection and incident resolution.  By leveraging these Data Fabric-based security operations solutions, agencies can elevate institutional defenses, reduce operational strain, and ensure critical systems are protected without compromising performance or user accessibility.

Platform Expansion

FedRAMP Mod International Expansion DCs: The modern threat landscape continues to demand global solutions that extend security and compliance capabilities across borders. To support government agencies and Federal Systems Integrators in meeting these growing demands, Zscaler has expanded international access to FedRAMP Moderate-certified data centers, now available in Zurich with Singapore and São Paulo coming soon.

These expansions empower customers with global presence to confidently extend secure operations to international locations, ensuring adherence to the highest standards for compliance and performance. The increased footprint simplifies compliance processes for international operations while enabling scalable solutions that overcome the limitations of regional systems.

New ZIA Private Service Edge (PSE) Option: GovCloud now offers an additional ZIA Private Service Edge (PSE) option, designed to give government agencies the flexibility to choose the solution that best fits their operational needs and preferences. This new HP ZIA PSE option is on par with the existing PSE solution, providing enterprise-grade performance while enabling agencies to securely integrate high-performance technologies into their infrastructures.

By offering multiple PSE options, we empower government customers with the ability to tailor their deployments to align with specific mission requirements, whether it’s optimizing for scalability, ensuring availability in high-stakes environments, or adhering to strict compliance standards. Combined with our global expansion efforts, these advanced platform capabilities help agencies achieve greater operational readiness, interconnectedness, and resilience—delivering secure solutions that extend their impact worldwide.

Innovation in Existing Products

Building on the strong foundation of our GovCloud solutions, we are introducing upcoming powerful enhancements to existing products. These updates bring greater precision, customization, and usability to help government agencies strengthen their security posture, optimize operations, and improve visibility—all while advancing zero trust principles.

ZDX

Enhanced visibility into performance with actionable incident insights, troubleshooting snapshots, and support for critical collaboration tools like Zoom Gov.

ZIA

New granular controls for web filtering and intrusion prevention paired with administrative logging, and dedicated IP using ENAT.

ZPA

Build more robust zero trust capabilities with AI-powered segmentation including app import, segmentation insights and AI recommendations, inspection of ZPA traffic by ZIA, secure extranet, and VPN for legacy apps for server to client use cases.

Data Protection

Endpoint data scanning and email DLP for optimized protection, and near-parity between government and commercial CASB functionalities.

Zero Trust Cloud

Elevate workload visibility and policy enforcement with precise workload tagging within Zero Trust Cloud environments.

Privileged Remote Access (PRA)

Securely enable employees and third parties to connect to critical OT/IoT/IT assets with full visibility, without requiring agents, delivering advanced resource management and compliance.

Conclusion

For government agencies, cybersecurity modernization is both a necessity and an opportunity. GovCloud innovations continue to support federal systems through enhanced security frameworks, global expansion, and zero trust capabilities. These advancements allow agencies to break free from legacy bottlenecks and build adaptive, resilient, and scalable infrastructures.

By adopting these solutions, agencies can exceed compliance requirements, accelerate mission success, and better protect against evolving cyber threats.
