Zscaler Named "Cool Vendor" by Leading Analyst Firm

Sunnyvale, California, May, 10, 2011

Zscaler, a leading provider of cloud-delivered security solutions, today announced that Gartner has updated the company’s entry in their list of "Cool Vendors" in their Cool Vendors in Cloud Security Services, 2011 report.

Gartner originally listed Zscaler as a Cool Vendor in SaaS security in 2009. (i) Since that time, Zscaler’s security cloud has grown exponentially, and today scans billions of transactions for millions of global users daily. The company has bolstered its web security services by integrating email security and Data Loss Prevention solutions, all with no hardware or software to install. Zscaler’s cloud delivery means that all network traffic is scanned for all customer users and devices, whether they are in the office or roaming.

“We believe this serves as confirmation of Zscaler’s commitment to the security market, and of our ability to solve customers’ web and email security challenges,” says Jay Chaudhry, CEO of Zscaler. “Our highly scalable, cloud-delivered Security-as-a-Service architecture continues to set new standards for speed, security, and availability for all our customers, from small businesses to large global enterprises.”
