Zscaler Named by Network World as One of Ten Start-ups to Watch in 2009

Santa Clare, California, January 07, 2009

Zscaler, the industry-first, multi-tenant SaaS security service, announced today that the company was named as one of the top 10 start-ups to watch in 2009 by Network World magazine in their annual listing of innovative new companies and technologies.  Selected companies were chosen based on suggestions solicited from Network World editorial staff as well as their larger writing community, including, bloggers, newsletter writers, columnists and testers.

“It is an honor to be included in this prestigious list compiled by the Network World staff and contributors. We believe it validates not only Zscaler’s position in the SaaS security space, but also the growing area of In-the-Cloud Security for the marketplace as a whole,” said Jay Chaudhry, President & CEO of Zscaler.

Zscaler’s cloud service eliminates the need for multiple point security products. Organizations simply redirect their Internet bound traffic to one of Zscaler's many data centers and the service enforces business policies to block, allow or clean the traffic. Zscaler mitigates risk at a lower cost while ensuring that users have a fast and safe Internet experience.
