Zscaler, the industry-first, multi-tenant SaaS security service, announced today that Divakaran Mangalath has joined the company as Vice President of India Operations. Divakaran brings a 30-year track record of experience in various technology leadership roles. He was recognized for his technology leadership by Business Week magazine in the 2006 "Champions of Innovation" Top 25 list.

As CTO of Wipro, Divakaran was responsible for leading technology and innovation initiatives in areas such as grid computing, service-oriented architecture, collaboration and wireless and broadband technologies. He has been involved in Wipro's global businesses since 1991 and pioneered Offshore Development Centers (ODC) for large technology companies. Earlier in his career, Divakaran was instrumental in the design and development of a series of popular mini computers in the Indian market.

“Divakaran has played an instrumental role in growing Wipro from a start-up to a dominant IT services company,” said Jay Chaudhry, President and CEO of Zscaler. “His experience and leadership will be a great asset to successfully scale Zscaler operations.”

“Zscaler has created a revolutionary technology that sets a new standard for in-the-cloud security, one of the fastest growing market segments,” said Divakaran. “I am very excited about joining Zscaler and look forward to taking India development and business operations to the next level.”
