Introduction

This Privacy Notice applies to the personal data that Zscaler, Inc. and its affiliates (“Zscaler”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) process in relation to your interaction with the ZDX app integration with ServiceNow.

What personal data do we collect?

We collect username and email address directly from the ServiceNow user table during operations such as the /device API call. 

How do we use your personal data?

We use the collected data to query Microsoft Azure (ADX) and retrieve ZDX-related insights. These insights are added to ServiceNow tickets to provide additional information that helps with troubleshooting and resolving alerts.

How do we share and transfer your personal data?

We securely share your data with Microsoft Azure (ADX) as part of the query to fetch relevant alert data.

Is the personal data stored, and how is it secured?

The data is temporarily stored in Zscaler’s managed systems only for the time necessary to query Microsoft Azure (ADX) and provide insights to the ServiceNow integration. The ZDX app employs security measures including encryption and access control. No personal data is retained after processing the query.
