Zscaler Delivers Same-Day Support for macOS 27 and iOS 27

A new Apple operating system brings new capabilities and experiences, but for enterprise IT and security teams, release day also brings an important question: Can we adopt the latest OS without compromising security, access, or employee productivity?

Zscaler has completed testing and validation of the macOS 27 and iOS 27 general availability releases and is delivering Same-Day Support for the second consecutive year. Zscaler customers can now confidently evaluate, pilot and deploy the latest Apple operating systems on their own timetable, with validated Zscaler compatibility and readiness from day one.

In addition, Zscaler has broadened its Same-Day Support to include Zero Trust Browser for macOS 27, extending Same-Day readiness across another important way customers securely access applications and data. This expands on the testing and validation of Zscaler Client Connector, Zscaler Digital Experience (ZDX), and Zscaler Data Loss Prevention

This achievement is the culmination of months of continuous testing across Apple beta releases, release candidates, and now the final GA builds. Zscaler is deeply committed to helping customers adopt Apple releases on their own schedule while maintaining the zero trust, data security and visibility, and user experience their businesses depend on.

Last year, Zscaler delivered Same-Day Support for macOS Tahoe and iOS 26. This year’s readiness builds on that foundation.

Same Day Support starts well before Apple’s general availability. Throughout Apple’s release cycle, Zscaler Product and Engineering teams continuously:

• ​​Validate Apple beta, release candidate, and GA builds across supported Zscaler products.
• Identify and escalate compatibility issues early, with Apple.
• Test enterprise scenarios across security, access, data protection, and digital experience workflows.
• Incorporate customer feedback to strengthen readiness across each release cycle. 

Each release cycle builds on what we learned from the one before it turning Same-Day Support from a release milestone into a repeatable readiness discipline.

Building on the customer benefit outlined with last year’s Same Day Support milestone, macOS 27 and iOS 27 extend that readiness for another Apple release cycle.

Customers gain:

• Continued zero trust protection and secure access: as devices transition to the latest supported Apple operating systems.
• Greater deployment confidence: with Zscaler compatibility validated from day one. 
• Expanded macOS readiness with Zero Trust Browser: adding a protected browser-based work experience on macOS 27 alongside Zscaler’s Client Connector, Zscaler Digital Experience, and Data Loss Prevention capabilities.

Same Day Support does not mean every organization needs to upgrade its entire Apple fleet on release day. It means Zscaler is ready when our customers are.

We encourage customers and Apple platform teams to join the Apple ZDS Group in the Zscaler Community to follow compatibility updates, exchange enterprise deployment experiences, and provide feedback as new Apple releases become available.

Customers can also:

• Review Zscaler supported-version guidance before beginning broader deployments.
• Use pilot groups to validate new Apple releases within their own environments and workflows.
• For Apple beta releases: Share Client Connector compatibility feedback through the Apple ZDS Community, or engage your Zscaler Account team, Customer Success Manager (CSM), or Technical Success Manager (TSM). Please do not share logs, personally identifiable information (PII), or sensitive diagnostic information in public Community posts.
• For Apple GA releases: Report compatibility or product issues through standard Zscaler Support channels. Known Client Connector issues with OS 27 will be documented in the Known Issues List (KIL) in the Customer Support Portal.

Apple will continue to innovate, and enterprise adoption will happen at different speeds based on each organization’s applications, users, and operational requirements. Our responsibility is to make sure security doesn’t become the reason customers have to wait.
