The digital landscape is evolving at an unprecedented pace, and at Zscaler, we are committed to keeping our customers ahead of the curve. As businesses increasingly embrace a cloud-first and zero trust approach to security, we're excited about the advancements we are providing with Experience Center and the Zero Trust Exchange authentication service — the groundbreaking capabilities that will redefine how you secure and manage your Zero Trust solution.

Enhancing User Experience with Experience Center

The Experience Center, our brand-new unified administrative console, provides a streamlined and user-friendly experience. By unifying administrative workflows into a single hub, the Experience Center makes it easier than ever to manage your security solution at scale.

What is Authentication Service (formerly ZIdentity)?

The Zero Trust Exchange authentication service (formerly called ZIdentity) is Zscaler's common identity service, which integrates seamlessly with your enterprise Identity Provider (Okta, Microsoft EntraID, Ping Identity, etc). Authentication service provides a single identity service for the Zero Trust platform, which seamlessly integrates with the Experience Center to simplify and secure administrative access. By leveraging authentication service, businesses can elevate their security posture while managing their environment with greater ease and efficiency. At its core, ZIdentity is designed to securely identify users by integrating with your existing IdPs, improving access to Zscaler’s administrative services and centralizing end user enrollment.  It authenticates identities to Zscaler and is not a replacement for your existing Identity Providers.

Migrating to authentication service today has immediate advantages:

  1. Strengthened Access Controls: Leverage your existing IdP to authenticate users with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), with the option of enforcing MFA at Zscaler.
  2. Centralized Administration: Manage identity and entitlements across Zscaler products more effectively from a single interface.
  3. Future-Proofed Functionality: Migration for admin accounts is the first step toward adopting authentication service for your User Accounts. This paves the way for Experience Center, which provides a unified platform experience, and cutting-edge features Step-Up Authentication, and Adaptive Access Engine launching later this year.

Starting April 2026, all of Zscaler's cutting-edge features and innovations will only be available within the Experience Center, ensuring customers have the best tools at their fingertips in one centralized console.

Unlock Powerful New Innovations

The combination of authentication service and the Experience Center isn’t just about providing a new user interface—it's about enabling access to the latest innovations that are shaping the future of security and operational management. These include:

  • Risk360: A comprehensive analysis tool for surfacing and mitigating risks within your Zero Trust network.
  • Health360: A proactive tool to measure and optimize your deployment's health and performance.
  • Zero Trust Branch: Extend Zero Trust principles securely and seamlessly to your branch offices.
  • Zero Trust Everywhere: A collection of unified analytics that present a list of curated dashboards.
  • Executive Insights App: A complementary mobile application to empower executives with actionable data around security and network performance.

These innovations are key to enabling organizations to measure performance, mitigate risks, and streamline insights within your Zero Trust environment.

Critical Timelines for Migration

As we move forward, it’s important to note several key timelines to ensure your organization is prepared:

  • Starting April 2026, all new features and innovations will only be available in the Experience Center. Legacy Zscaler administrative UIs will no longer receive new feature updates.
  • Beginning in September 2026, all legacy Zscaler administrative UIs will be officially deprecated.

It is imperative that all Zscaler customers complete their migration to authentication service and the Experience Center by March 2026 to continue leveraging the latest features and capabilities. Migrating early not only secures your administrative experience but also unlocks access to the innovations that will optimize your Zero Trust deployment.

The Time to Act is Now
