Praniti Lakhwara

As EVP, Chief Information Officer and Head of Enterprise AI, Praniti Lakhwara leads Zscaler’s enterprise technology and AI strategy, spanning business applications, data and AI platforms, digital employee experience, infrastructure, and operations. In this role, she is responsible for modernizing the company’s technology landscape while leading its internal AI transformation, including enterprise AI strategy, data modernization, governance, and adoption. By partnering with leaders across the business to reimagine processes and scale high-impact AI initiatives, Praniti is embedding intelligent technologies into how Zscaler operates to drive productivity, innovation, and measurable business growth.

 

Praniti has a proven track record of helping to build best-in-class, execution-focused IT teams that provide business value through process optimization and automation. Prior to Zscaler, Praniti was the CIO at Conga, where she was responsible for Infrastructure, Applications, Security and Data Platforms. Under Praniti’s leadership, the Conga IT team repositioned the IT strategy, revitalized its brand within Conga, established a “Customer 0” program, and executed a roadmap that doubled from prior years. Prior to Conga, Praniti was Vice President, IT for Nimble Storage and held senior IT leadership roles at Guidewire and Invisalign. Praniti was awarded Bay Area CIO of the Year in 2017 by Silicon Valley Business Journal and the San Francisco Business Times.

 

Praniti holds a BS degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Arizona State University.
