Zero Trust Branch and Cloud Now Available in GovCloud for Government Customers
In today’s digital-first world, government agencies are under increasing pressure to modernize their IT infrastructure while ensuring top-notch security and compliance. At Zscaler, we are committed to supporting government entities in their digital transformation journey by providing solutions in our GovCloud, a specialized cloud environment that meets the rigorous security and compliance requirements of government agencies.
We are excited to bring Zero Trust for Branch and Cloud to GovCloud. This innovative solution prevents ransomware attacks, stops lateral threat movement, turns branches into simplified café-like environments, and eliminates the need for firewalls, network access control (NAC), SD-WAN, site-to-site VPNs, and reliance on Direct Connect and ExpressRoute. Our government customers can leverage Zscaler’s cutting-edge security solutions while adhering to federal regulations such as FedRAMP.
With Zero Trust for Branch and Cloud, our government customers can:
- Stop lateral movement of ransomware - Segment users, devices, and workloads in days—not months or years.
- Deliver a café-like branch experience - Enable access without extending your network to every branch.
- Cut firewall and infrastructure spend by 50% - Eliminate N/S and E/W firewalls, NAC switches, traditional SD-WAN, ExpressRoute, and Direct Connect.
The solution is generally available in Federal Clouds.
Zero Trust Cloud
When deployed in the cloud, the solution simplifies the process of securely connecting workloads to the internet and to each other using zero-trust architecture. It eliminates the need for traditional VPNs and complex routing, providing a seamless and secure connection for cloud applications. Key features include:
- Gain Consistent, Comprehensive Threat and Data Protection: Prevent zero day-attacks with cloud-scale TLS inspection and threat protection
- Eliminate Lateral Movement and Attack Surface: Connect workloads using the Zero Trust Exchange reducing network attack surface. Connect apps not networks; apps become undiscoverable
- Reduce Operational Cost and Complexity: Secure workloads across private data centers and all major cloud service providers including AWS, Azure, and GCP using one unified platform.
