Supporting the health and well-being of employees and their families is a top priority. Excellent health coverage encompasses much more than sick care—it includes resources for mental health, support for complex and chronic conditions, and benefits to help grow and care for your family.
We recognize that health is a large and broad component of wellness which starts with proper medical care. Zscaler provides medical insurance for you and your family through PALIG, which includes a wide range of support such as hospitalization, outpatient services, maternity care, preventive care, and physical therapy. Primary medical care is fully funded by Zscaler.
Employees are encouraged to take advantage of mental health services and wellness programs that include: 24/7 access to the Telus confidential Employee Assistance Program; free access to the Calm meditation app; and fitness and well-being support.
Protect your dental health with insurance coverage through PALIG. Our plan includes preventive care, dental care, crowns, endodontics, radiology, surgeries, prosthetics, and restorations and pediatric treatments. Coverage is fully funded by Zscaler for you and your family.
Your vision checkups and hardware needs are covered through the medical plan with PALIG. Zscaler fully funds the premiums for you.

The Zscaler stock program offers Restricted Stock Units (RSU) and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), allowing you to invest in Zscaler’s future and share in the company’s success.
- RSUs are granted by the company to eligible employees on an individual basis as deemed appropriate.
- ESPP offers employees an opportunity to purchase Zscaler stock at a minimum 15% discount through payroll deduction twice a year.
Zscaler employees are automatically enrolled in life insurance coverage at no cost, ensuring you and your loved ones are protected during challenging and unexpected times.

All full-time employees receive a set amount of 15 days paid time off (PTO) annually in addition to public holidays, paid sick leave, and bereavement leave.
Zscaler supports employees with families and offers the following parental leave benefits:
- Birthing Parents: 18 weeks of leave at 100% base pay
- Non-Birthing Parents: 8 weeks at 100% base pay, including adoption, fostering, or surrogacy
All Zscaler employees and their family members have access to an enhanced Employee Assistance Program (EAP) through Telus. This free and confidential program offers localized 1:1 health and well-being support, including counseling services and resources to assist employees and their families with work and home life issues, including finding care for children and elderly parents, education, finances, and more.

Zscaler invests in your future career growth and helps you further your knowledge, skills, and job effectiveness through continuing education. Eligible employees can apply for reimbursement up to US$5,250 equivalent per calendar year for eligible educational expenses, including college credit courses, continuing education courses, and certifications.
In-office employees receive a meal subsidy through our Meal Program.
