Our Succeeding at Z toolkit offers training and development programs that support the needs of our business and our employees’ future career growth. We offer curated training content to help employees succeed in their roles, and eligible employees may receive tuition reimbursement. Our mentorship program connects hundreds of Zscaler employees to mentors and mentees who work together to explore what’s possible.
Our Leading at Z program develops leaders, who help model Zscaler values and cultivate a great employee experience. We offer tailored development programs that meet leaders at different phases of their journey. All managers have access to tools, resources, and live programming. Leaders identified as top talent have expanded access, including executive coaching and advanced education.
Advancing company priorities through performance management
Our company-wide Goals, Performance, and Success (GPS) program formalizes goal-setting, manager check-in, and performance assessments. Biannual reviews cover both what was achieved and how it was delivered, aligning performance with Zscaler values.
GPS is designed to give all employees clarity on expectations, opportunities to grow and develop, and feedback and autonomy to help them excel. GPS aligns employee contributions with company priorities, and links rewards with impact.
Our open culture is a key driver of our high engagement. We solicit feedback through processes both informal, such as our open-door policy, and formal, such as our annual engagement survey and periodic sentiment surveys.
These surveys help us understand the employee experience, areas for improvement, and nuances across demographics and geographies.
